Justin Kamine has been at the forefront of sustainability for 15 years. His deep desire to change the world has been recognized globally by leaders and organizations, with his accomplishments spanning across multiple industries. Justin has been awarded sustainability awards from the Prince of Monaco, Fast Company, and Forbes 30 under 30. He was ranked one of Forbes 50 Most Impactful Entrepreneurs, and US Weekly and LA Weekly Entrepreneur to watch out for. Justin has become a sought after thought leader and speaker on bringing sustainability to scale, including being a global speaker at Semi-Permanent, REFED, Google’s Climate Event, and the Bloomberg and World Economic Forum.

Justin has developed a career of not just talking about sustainability, but actually doing it, and at scale!

His background coincides with his family’s history of building, owning and operating over $4B of national infrastructure in energy, telecom, renewables and closed loop circular systems.

Justin is best known for founding Do Good Foods, a revolutionary $200M+ solution to fighting food waste, while simultaneously launching the first USDA approved third party verified carbon reduced retail brand using real time carbon accounting. Do Good Foods upcycled over 40M lbs of surplus grocery food, saving 5,000 MT of C02e in its first year.

Justin co-founded Mend, a unique food as medicine platform utilizing a scientific approach to clinically study plant based products to revolutionize healthcare. Mend has had tremendous growth and is being reimbursed by insurance companies through the leading hospitals, as well as being offered as a direct to consumer brand.

Justin was the first investor and is currently a board member of Loliware, a seaweed based bio-resin that can pelletize seaweed into what looks and feels like a plastic resin to supplement with. Now every existing manufacturing facility can transition to a regenerative seaweed alternative

Justin has lead the commercial developments of large scale solar projects including helping to make Six Flags the first amusement park in the world to be net-zero.

Justin is on the Board of Earthday, the largest civic platform focused on promoting a better planet, part of Young Milken Institute and much more.
